This is one of my entries for the Haiga Art Exhibition and Artprize. I have never entered before, and have no idea what the other entries will be like. But I enjoyed the challenge of writing a haiku to go with one of my photos.I know the syllables are not perfectly counted out, but apparently the original haiku were 3-5-3 and then changed to 5-7-5, so my 4-7-5 is not too terrible. I don’t think they’re judging on this so much as how the image is visually accompanied with the text and how it sounds, so long as it does not go above 17 syllables.But we’ll see I guess!
